Fit indicators
Use fit indicators as questions to check after a buyer has chosen a route. They are not a ranking or decision.
Where they appear
The buyer first describes an outcome and chooses a way forward. Fit indicators then help compare available capability inside that selected route.
What they can show
- How the option relates to the outcome and chosen route.
- Relevant proof and any missing evidence.
- Availability, commercial fit and important constraints.
- Reasons to inspect the option more closely.
What they do not do
Fit indicators do not choose the route, automatically rank every option, verify skill, make a deployment decision or guarantee success. A buyer should inspect the evidence and decide what to do next.
