Publish a brief
Publish a ready brief when a Deployment Slot is available.
What publishing does
Publishing moves a ready capability brief from draft into a live buyer workflow. It is the point where Deployed Works checks brief readiness, employer profile readiness and whether the organisation has access through a Deployment Slot or subscription.
Before you publish
- Check that the brief explains the work, outcome, constraints, timeline and useful first step.
- Make sure someone in the organisation can answer provider questions and make the next decision.
- Confirm that a Deployment Slot, Single Deployment credit or active subscription is available.
Current workflow
Open deployment briefs
Use /dashboard/employer/jobs to review drafts and live briefs.
Select Publish
The dashboard calls the publish route for the selected brief.
Resolve missing access
If no Deployment Slot is available, the brief moves to pending payment and cannot go live.
Return after checkout
When checkout completes, publish again once the slot appears on the account.
Limits
Publishing does not guarantee a shortlist, a contact request, a conversation or a successful deployment. It starts the live workflow; buyer review and provider fit still matter.
